Rand Asia Center Recruits Three

The RAND Center for Asia-Pacific Policy (CAPP) has announced the appointment of three professional and business leaders -- Matthew Fong, Roy Doumani and Andrew B. Kim -- to its Advisory Board.
Fong, former California State Treasurer and the Republican candidate for the U.S. Senate in 1998, is currently of counsel at the Los Angeles firm of Sheppard, Mullin, Richter and Hampton.
Doumani of Los Angeles is a private investor who has been doing business in Asia for more than three decades and is currently involved in joint ventures in Japan and China. He has served as board chairmen of major banks in Hawaii and Los Angeles.
A New York resident, Kim is president of SituKim International Investment Associates. He is a director of numerous firms, funds and business-related institutes in the U.S., South Korea, Indonesia, China and Hong Kong.
CAPP is a RAND research center that was established to explore, analyze and explain changes in the Asia-Pacific region and assist in the formulation of policy responses to critical issues.
Its Advisory Board consists of public and private sector representatives from both sides of the Pacific.
