Mirror Staff
The Center for the Partially Sighted, which was founded 20 years ago by Samuel M. Genesky, Ph.D, is moving from Santa Monica to Los Angeles later this year.
Located at 720 Wilshire Boulevard in Santa Monica, the Center will soon occupy Suite 600 at 12310 Wilshire, just west of Bundy, in West L.A.
In preparation for its move, the Center is asking for in-kind donations of furniture and equipment, specifically childrens furniture for the waiting room, a sofa, a dry white erase board, four computers, five printers, two chart cabinets, a reception area mailbox, a conference room table and eight chairs, 50 stackable chairs, and office furniture of all sorts, including four-drawer lateral file cabinets, work tables, credenzas, five-shelf bookcases, desks in all sizes, desk chairs and visitors chairs.
Any donations which are not used in the Centers new offices will be offered in a silent auction to be run in conjunction with a dedication ceremony.
