The event brings together startups, venture capital firms, corporations, creators, and residents to highlight the area’s tech ecosystem
On Monday, October 13, Tech St. Santa Monica will kick off LA Tech Week 2025, turning Ocean Avenue and parts of Palisades Park into a vibrant showcase of innovation, entrepreneurship, and community spirit.
This expanded outdoor event, a collaboration between the city of Santa Monica, Syndicate, the Los Angeles County Economic Development Corporation, Hustle Fund, Alumni Ventures, Santa Monica Chamber, and Santa Monica Travel & Tourism, builds on last year’s inaugural street fair. It will bring together startups, venture capital firms, corporations, creators, and residents to highlight Southern California’s tech ecosystem, dubbed “Silicon Beach.”
The day will feature the Startup World Cup, Pegasus Tech Ventures, Hustle Fund, Alumni Ventures, Los Angeles Venture Association, and more, with exhibits, robotics demonstrations, performances, a beer garden, and community partner activations. Participants can also join the Los Angeles Regional Startup World Cup Pitch Competition, offering top startups a chance to compete globally for investment from leading venture capital firms.
As Santa Monica marks its 150th anniversary, the event celebrates the city’s legacy as a hub for innovation, home to companies like Snapchat, Headspace, GoodRx, Activision Blizzard, and Bloomnation, and a base for venture firms such as Andreessen Horowitz and Upfront Ventures.
The free event runs from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. along Ocean Avenue from Santa Monica Boulevard to Broadway. For tickets and details, visit tech-week.com.
